A woman falls for a charming and mysterious businessman. The whirlwind romance turns sour when she is framed for his underworld crimes. Now, finally out of prison she is ready for sweet revenge.

On 14 November 1947 Lieutenant Ajay Mehra, in the company of two assistants, Ultaram and Sultaram, travels to Kashmir to quash Kabaayalis rebels. While rescuing a woman in Baramullah, he sustains a head injury and loses his memory. The woman he rescued, Asha, was just married to Ranjeet but ended up being abandoned by him during the attack, looks after him, accompanies him to Srinagar to get him medically treated, and Ajay falls in love with her. After she gets him admitted, she leaves a message that since she is married, she must return back home. Once there, she finds out that her marriage was not finalized while her in-laws refuse to accept this and decide to abduct her. Ajay manages to rescue her but ends up getting arrested by the police, he does escape from custody and returns home to Bombay. Once there, he hopes to regain his memory but while chasing bank robbers, meets with an accident and is hospitalized.

The movie is based on the girl Meena (Meena Shorey - the Lara Lappa Girl - the song from this movie which made her famous).

The celebrations take a nasty turn when Zaheer and Ashraf get on the receiving end of an unexpected attack from the Nana Mhatre gang. They both manage to escape and survive with very little margin for error and that leads to Zaheer taking the bold and difficult decision to quit underworld once and for all, for the safety of his family and his unborn child.

Nainital-based, orthodox and traditional, Amar, obtains a degree in Engineering, and re-locates to Bombay for employment. After doing so, he decides to assist his friend, Prakash, woo a wealthy and educated woman, Neeta, but ends up falling in love and marrying her himself much to the chagrin of her father. Shortly after the marriage, he takes her to visit his widowed-schoolteacher mother, but she has gone on an outing. They return back, and shortly thereafter arguments ensue, which escalate to such an extent that Amar assaults her, compelling her to return to her parents' home. When she insists on a divorce - Amar refuses until and unless she lives with him for 15 days in order to create a false scenario of a happy marriage for his mother.
